The ISUB3000-30GM85 is specifically engineered to solve the challenges of monitoring liquid levels in medium-to-large industrial storage tanks (up to 3 meters in depth). In industries such as water treatment, food processing, and chemical storage, maintaining precise liquid levels is critical to prevent overflow or dry-running pumps. The Challenge: Inside tanks, vapors, condensation, and agitators can often confuse standard optical sensors. The sensor Solution: With its 112kHz ultrasonic frequency, this sensor effectively penetrates minor vapors and resists signal scattering. The 3-meter range covers the depth of most mixing tanks and day tanks. The IP67 rating protects the electronics from moisture and splashing. Integration: The sensor offers unmatched deployment flexibility for system designers. Depending on the control requirement, the sensor can be configured to output a 4-20mA signal for continuous real-time level monitoring to a PLC. Alternatively, for safety backup or independent limit detection, the same hardware unit can be reprogrammed via the serial port to Switching mode (NPN/PNP) to act as a dedicated "High Level" or "Low Level" alarm trigger. This versatility allows one sensor model to serve multiple roles across the facility. The small 180mm blind zone ensures measurement nearly to the top of the tank, maximizing usable storage capacity.
